Our Team

SkateMin Asia is powered by a passionate team of missionaries, local leaders, and volunteers who use skateboarding to share God’s love with youth across Asia. We are a network of skaters, pastors, and mentors united by a vision to see skateparks become centers of hope and discipleship.

Tj Tamayo

Tj Tamayo

USA Office

I have been skating for 25 years and serving the skate community for 12. My heart still beats for skaters from the Asian skate community. I am now U.S.-based to provide logistical support, communications, donor relations, and training to ensure every missionary has the tools they need to reach skaters in Asia effectively.

what our Team does

Our team is on the ground across Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines, building relationships, running outreach events, and training leaders to grow skateboarding ministry in their own communities.

Create

We work alongside local churches and skate families across Asia to create safe, welcoming spaces where young people can grow in faith, character, and skill.

Action

Whether running local skate events, feeding the hungry, or organizing international mission trips, our team is hands-on in showing Christ’s love in practical ways.

Disciple

Our team walks with skaters both on and off the board—teaching life lessons, sharing the Gospel, and encouraging them to pursue God’s plan for their lives.

Train & Expand

From Taiwan to the Philippines, Japan to Indonesia, we train and equip leaders who will carry the vision forward in their own cultures and communities.
